12.28.2007 Village People Reborn
  Village People Reborn. Doing a remake of the legendary 70’s singing group The Village People, Regional Executive Director (RED) Ricardo L. Calderon together with his Regional Technical Directors (RTDs) and Regional Directors (RDs) presented a dance number during DENR-XI’s Christmas Party last December 20, 2007 held at the Lanang Golf & Country Club. Giving their best effort to grace the program, these “Macho Men” were (L-R) RD for MGB Edilberto Areza, RTD for LMS Atty. Felix Alicer, RED Ric Calderon, RTD for PAWCZMS Emmanuel Isip, RTD for FMS Hardinado Patnugot, Jr., RD for EMB Metudio Turbella and RTD For ERDS Bonifacio Apura.

12.10.2007 Mawab Parish Priest Signs MoA
 Reverend Christopher P. Segura of San Roque Parish, Mawab, Compostela Valley Province signs a Memorandum of Agreement (MoA) for the “Adopt-A-Mojon” Program of the Philippine Reference System of 1992. The said program aims to enlist the participation of the LGUs, POs and the general public in the establishment and the preservation of the PRS92 geodetic control points (mojon) to service geo-referencing needs of the geodetic surveying community at all times. The signatories/adopters are tasked to protect the geodetic control points from destruction, maintain their physical condition and advocate their significance to land administration. San Roque Parish is the 17th signatory of the 24 MoAs targeted by the Regional Public Affairs Office (RPAO) for DENR-XI.
